Dalgona coffee


Dalgona coffee is basically a whipped mixture of coffee, sugar and water topped on the hot or cold milk. It is a milk based beverage with soft ,creamy and foamy form of coffee mixture .These days dalgona coffee is very much in trend on social media.

It is very simple and quick recipe made with very few ingredients which are easily available at home .

Below are the ingredients

For this you need coffee ,sugar and water in 1:1:1 proportion.

  • Coffee – 3Tbsp
  • Sugar – 3Tbsp
  • Water -3Tbsp

The Process

Put all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk it all together with the help of whisker or by hand until the mixture gets thicken and turns into soft, creamy and foamy texture. It is advisable to use an electronic whisker as we need to whisk it for a little long time (at least 8 to 10 mins). If doing by hand it may take around 20 to 25 mins.

Preparing the Coffee

Once the mixture is ready take 3/4th cup hot or cold milk (as per your choice) and pour the mixture on top. You can decorate with coco powder or coffee powder or chocolate .
